Following two years of postponements, the award-winning intergalactic music, science and culture festival, bluedot (21 - 24 July ’22) – made a triumphant return in 2022.
Headlining Sunday evening with a UK Festival Exclusive and uniquely commissioned performance alongside Manchester’s famed Halle Orchestra was international superstar Björk.
Legendary Scottish post-rockers Mogwai headlined Saturday night at bluedot 2022 alongside Indie-electro giants, Metronomy whilst one of the best-loved dance acts, Groove Armada closed Friday night.
The stellar line-up also saw Spiritualized, Yard Act, Working Mens Club, A Certain Ratio, Tim Burgess, Squarepusher and Anna Meredith amongst many more acts.
bluedot has also had headline names from its science programme for 2022. Key speakers included host of Radio 4’s The Life Scientific Professor Jim Al-Khalili, British historian and filmmaker David Olusoga, leading space scientist Monica Grady, and astrophysicist and host of BBC’s The Sky at Night Chris Lintott.
