The Award-Winning Highest Point returns to the glorious Williamson Park in Lancaster&nbsp;on Friday 10th &amp; Saturday 11th May 2024.
The stunning 54-acre grounds is one of Northern England&rsquo;s best-kept public parks and will once again play host to some of the most revered names in British music, representing an eclectic spectrum of sounds and styles.
Ticket holders are set to be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment over the 2-day spectacle. In addition to a chock-a-block lineup of music over 6 stages with world class artist and DJs, there&rsquo;ll also be lots of family entertainment, not to mention a variety of mouth-watering refreshments and delicacies supplied by a score of highly-rated, regional vendors. Review of The Big Family Day Out

Needs better bands. Bastille are amazing and as an avid fan all 10 of us were thrilled to see them, very grateful they indulged such a small crowd. Regarding other bands that may appeal to similar tastes in music , they were none and so I think a better understanding of genre would be hugely beneficial and the festival would superb thereafter. 
That aside it is always deeply disturbing to see young children as young as 13,14 and 15 years old, on **tamine. I helped as many as 10 children on Saturday for 4 hours until they regained effective consciousness. So vulnerable. I donât think they should be punished if they take drugs and end up mashed, I think they should be better drug detecting searches, more dogs and lastly the welfare tent providing bladder bags for hydration is used as a way of being in vodka the following days. Iâve been festivals many of times, this was my first time at HP ( for Bastille) but I remember when there was an adolescent death at kendal calling and many more casualties. So who wants that in Lancaster? No I. 
In attendance was myself, 43, my husband 46, my mother , 76 , my sons and their gf so 23 and 24 times 2 and my 14yr old plus two of her friends. Most of all live in lancaster, frequent the park throughout the year and do not want to a hound person to end up dead. 
The kids arenât supervised by adults or crew. Theyâre should be a curfew or a cut off point when it becomes strict they kids , ie teenagers are with the adult. 
Or else just sell kids a tickets and donât force an adult to buy one too. As that is what happened many times over. 


Took my two grandsons to experience their first ever gig / festival. Perfect for them.  They loved it.

Amazing vibe. Thursday night spectacular with Hacienda Classical and it just kept getting better across the weekend. Loads to see and do, great mix of stages, food, drink. Highly recommend a visit.

Had a fantastic day out with friends and family. My only issue was that you could hear more than one stage at a time so sounds were overlapping. 

I only went on the Thursday and enjoyed the music and atmosphere. However, the car parking was a shambles. The staff didn't know which car park was for the festival goers. I was told 3 different things within 20 minutes and no one asked for my pass (that I'd paid Â£8 for)

Had a great time well organised great music would definitely go again
